Great for spot-treating. Cutrine®-Plus Granular Algaecide (30-pound bag) was
developed for controlling bottom-growing algae. It is a clean, dry, granular
algaecide that sinks rapidly to the water bottom and provides excellent
control of chara and bottom-growing filamentous algae when scattered evenly
over the affected area. It is easily spread from the bag (while wearing
gloves) or with a crank-type rotary spreader. It is EPA-approved for use in
lakes and potable water reservoirs, farm fish ponds and fish hatcheries. For
spot treatment, apply at the rate of 1 pound per 720 ft2.
